Enjoy gourmet coffee, Louisville Cream ice cream and all your favorite Sister Bean’s specialty drinks and other delights on Saturday, July 8th.  Sister Bean’s will donate 10% of the day’s sales to Love the Hungry.  7 AM – 8 PM   It’s coffee for a cause!

Recruit your team of 12 volunteers, donate a team sponsorship of $500, and help package 25,000 Nutri-Plenty® meals.  Individuals and families are also welcome and encouraged to make a $25 donation per person to help offset costs.  Let’s celebrate the Summer of 2017 with a special day of service for the children of Haiti.   All meals will be donated to Children’s Lifeline.   For additional details, phone 502-459-9199.

UPS volunteers will package 3,000 Nutri-Plenty meals.

Students from throughout Kentuckiana will participate in a Refugee Camp Simulation.  The event includes many stations and experiences that create a powerful learning experience.  Participants will stand in line to receive a ration of Love the Hungry’s fortified Nutri-Plenty meals, similar to what a refugee may experience while living at a camp.

Student volunteers will participate in an on-campus service event – packaging 10,000 Nutri-Plenty® meals.

Bellarmine University students studying social issues will learn about world hunger and package more than 3,500 Nutri-Plenty® meals.

Volunteers from Girl Scout Troop #628 will package more than 2,500 Nutri-Plenty® meals.

With a  goal of 20,000 Nutri-Plenty® servings, students grades K – 8 will team up to provide life-changing nutrition to children in Guatemala.
