Join us on Sunday, August 11 as Love the Hungry teams up with the Mid-America Thrivent Member Network and Louisville City FC for an afternoon of service and soccer. The event begins at 1 PM as volunteers are invited to help package more than 10,000 Nutri-Plenty® servings.
Participants also receive a complimentary ticket for the 3 PM match as Louisville City FC takes on Atlanta United 2 AND a voucher to enjoy a snack and refreshments during the game! A suggested $7.00 donation will be directed to Love the Hungry through the Thrivent Member Network.

Students from Bellarmine University will join Love the Hungry in this annual event that jump-starts the new school year through community service. Volunteers will package 5,000 Nutri-Plenty servings.
University of Kentucky students will gather for a day of service and package 50,000 meals for local and global impact.
It’s Louisville’s annual day of online giving! Support Love the Hungry with your donation and help multiply the meals. Every dollar provides four fortified Nutri-Plenty® meals to children and families vulnerable to chronic hunger and starvation.

Volunteers from throughout Burkesville/Cumberland County will participate in the first annual Pack-A-Thon to benefit Children’s Lifeline (Haiti).
On the second Saturday of the month, Sister Bean’s Coffee House generously donates 10% of their total sales to Love the Hungry. Serving up gourmet coffee, Louisville Cream ice cream and many other delights, Sister Bean’s has a delicious treat for everyone to enjoy. 5225 New Cut Rd, across from Iroquois Park. Students grades K – 8 will join together in this annual service project. More than 30,000 meals will be provided to help children and families vulnerable to chronic hunger and starvation.
Volunteers are invited to join Love the Hungry on “National Volunteer Day”. Bring a friend and experience what makes Love the Hungry packaging sessions both fun and meaningful.
A suggested donation of $25 helps offset the cost of packaging supplies and delivery. Volunteers should register by phone at 502-459-9199.
